Not on the desktop. don't even have the icon anywhere on my comp, and
still when I press CTRL shift S it shuts down. That is the part that
confuses me
My shut down command is in my main menu and I can access control/shift S.

Anyways, the shortcut key is still there, so now I cannot bring up the
styles with CTRL
on the shortcut tab control, and tab
over to the hotkey field. Delete it there, and tab to OK and activate.

How do I remove it from the taskbar, the keystroke that is?
The context menu brings up the jumplist and alt enter takes me to the
taskbar tab where I can lock the taskbar etc. Nothing about a keystroke.

Focus on the item in the task bar, then open the context menu by the
applications key or shift F10
