Hi,
You can read the list of problems and select the ones you want fixed. Then
tab to fix selected problems, or you can tab to the select all problems and
space on that, then tab to fix selected problems and space on that. I
always select all problems and let it fix them all. It seems
Yes, this is more or less the way it works. RegScrubXP (which I've used for
several years) has a serious focus problem and you _do_ need to keep
pressing ALT+TAB to move away from, then back to the main program window.
The scripts, as far as I've been able to determine, do nothing to overcome
Hi Hailley,
If it helps any, when ever I use Reg Scrub XP, I always tend to end up using
my Jaws cursor to click on the relevant buttons.
I don't know why that happens, but since I use it very rarely, except when I
notice that there is sluggishness or crashes on my system, or even what
Hey Vic,
Thanks for the explanation of this program it helped me understand it's
basic function and the processes it runs one heck of a lot better than just
reading the read me file.

You're more than welcome Bob.
Something I forgot to mention in my last post...
Some may criticize why I run Reg Scrub several times, but the way I figure
it, the registry is like a tree view, meaning that if you were to look at it
from a sighted point of view, it would look like a tree view,

Yes, I get that there are 2 different serial numbers, the one I bought
myself, and the one of 20 site license that we have at work. My question
is, when you have a site license, can you not load that one license on 2
machines as long as they are not running simultaneously?

If I might jump in here, the way I understand it is like this. A site
license can be used up to as many silences that are available so long as it
stays on the particular site that owns the silence in question. I'm sure

hello friends, I accidentally deleted some useful files from my computer and
recycle bin, I have heard some program which can retrieve them , I want to know
is any of them accessible with jaws? if yes please tell me where can I get it,

I like the analogy used, but put simply, keep running regscrub till the
list shows 0 entries.

I think this is correct, David. Sit licenses work totally differently, as
best I understand it, from indiviedual licenses, so if you've got a private
license, you can't use it on a machine that's tied into a system that's
running a site license and vice-versa. I've never had any personal

Maybe someone can clear something up for me. Advice that was given to me on

I'm sorry if this answer was posted earlier, but where does one get the
scripts for RegScrub? I'm having trouble making it function properly, so
hopefully, if there are scripts, that would be a big help.

On www.jfwlite.com times the programs should be updated. There are mostly
already newer versions of the individual software offered there.
BTW: Still is RegScrubXP developed further? Because the old version 3.2 is
from 2004. The URL in the documentation is not valid any longer!

I have the same exact version that is on jfw lite right now. Now if there's
a more newer version I don't know. If there is and it works with jaws then
I'd be happy to post it up on the web. Sorry but I haven't been following
this with as much detail as normal.

Walt,
Since I don't have a lot of experience with scripts, I have to ask an
obvious question. It the scripts don't overcome the focus problem what
sense does it make to install them? Do they fix other problems? Is there a
place one can go to take a 101 course in JAWS scripts?
thanks
Al
The install of the scrips is painless even novices can do it, like me..
But if ya don't have to then don't bother and the jaws-users web site tells
ya step by step how to do that install of scripts should you just like were
wondering..
