When I used Avira, it kept throwing up abnoxious, mostly illegible windows onto the screen. I could not get much actual feedback about anything useful the program did. I understand that Microsoft was once not on the ball with anti-virus. In the old days, almost anything was better than their MSAV

The easyest way is to select the phrase, press CTRL+K, paste the URL to which you want to link and then press ENTER. Since the link is to a web page by default, if you want to link to an e-mail address, you must tab to the row of buttons for different link types and select E-mail. Hope it

Windows Defender works well with JAWS, though you may need to use the touch cursor to review text that is not in focus. If you want a quick overview of the state of Windows Defender, start Microsoft Powershell and run the get-mpcomputerstatus command. -Original Message- From:

Hey. Yes, there is. Some of the new Windows app require the use of the touch cursor to read or even activate things on the screen. It's an annoyance but something everyone just has to get used to or live with. You should read about it in your JAWS help files. -Original Message- From:

Yes, but that way your folder wouldn't disappear. There must be some interaction between jaws 2018 or windows 10 and your software that is causing the folder to disappear. If that is true then your problem won't go away until the offending software is changed. Not much you can do about that.
