For one of our portals, which has the features such as content
syndication, logging, security etcwe have planned to develop our portal
using the jetspeed framework provided by apache as it meets some of our
requirements. We have come up with some issues regarding configuration
mainly, while
It may be due to proxy settings

Subject: RSS portlets problem
Hi,
I created a rss file and I can access it with jetspeed.
But when I want
I can neither change the text's color, nor the title-text's color.
For example :
property name=title-text-color value=#ff hidden=false/
The titles remain black !
Why ?

the best way is to set TOMCAT_OPTS environnement variable like this :
TOMCAT_OPTS=-DproxyHost=ProxyAdress -DproxyPort=ProxyPort

Two ways (under the windows operating system!):
1 In a dosbox enter set TOMCAT_OPTS= etc.
2 In your system properties, Start -- Settings -- Control Panel, choose
System, tab Advanced, button Environment Variables, in the box User
variables, press the New... button, go with the flow
