@Chrisopher Baker: `pip install -U ipywidgets` resolved this issue for me. I uninstall my pip version of ipython to run the condas executable by default and that's when I started seeing this error. the ipywidgets upgrade with pip resolved it, though this feels dodgy somehow, given that I'm tryi
