When using 1and1 or O2 as email provider I always had a full inbox because the thunderbird had deleted or move all mails I instructed it to delete or move. But I used Geary as 2nd mail program and my mails stayed accessible until Geary way informed Thet they were no more there. Which was bad since

I'm having basically the same issue here, though it's not with Gmail. I have my Spectrum (RoadRunner) account running through K-9 Mail. Synching folder movements is slow, but is completed except for the messages in the trash folder. On K-9 Mail, when messages are deleted, they are not deleted on

So to clarify this setting *Erase Deleted messages on Server: Immediately.* Is this the same and saying *Expunge Messgages messages on Server: Immediatley* after marking as deleted? I think what is throwing me off is what is meant my Erase in that setting. I assume means to expunge. -Larry On

I am trying to figure out what the 3 settings for deletion mean. And if I am setting it up incorectly or something changed. I have 2 phones running K9 and Outlook 2016 running on PC all setup to use IMAP For the past 3+ years I have been running my 2 phone devices with these settings with no
