I have changed my workflow completely, I am not using the built-in
editor any longerm nor am I using grouping. For me, this issue can be

This is what happens: I add a collection on a usb hd. Digikam scans for an
hour. I unmount the disk, and digikam removes the entry from the Albums view.
In the settings, the collection is now no longer listed under

I'm on archlinux, fully updated, so digikam is latest release version.
It sounds encouraging that it works for you Maik. I have one suspicion about

I stopped using kmail some months ago, as it became 100% unusable. I
think there is no way forward for kmail, as long as akonadi is used.
Any non-akonadi mail client I tried works fine. As did kmail in
pre-akonadi

- krunner was ALWAYS available, there was NEVER delay before the window showed
