Over the past six months, I've noticed around three to four Ubuntu ppa's
for Kdenlive: Olivier Banus', Vincent's, (unofficially) the kdenlive
packages from kubuntu-ci/unstable, and now, recently, the
kdenlive/kdenlive-master ppa.
(1) Is there a way to unify the efforts and focus on

A small thought about associating the new logo with the program: what
about changing the color of the timeline position cursor in the program
to the shade of orange in the new logo? It looks like it would
compliment the program in both Breeze and Breeze Dark themes.
If it is wanted to promote product identity, I'd suggest placing the
logo in the background (about half opacity) in the bottom right corner
of the project bin area and make it possible to disable it in the
settings (shown by default).

I installed a fresh copy of Ubuntu GNOME 16.04, updated it, added the
ppa and installed kdenlive. After the set-up wizard, my entire home
directory literally got wiped out, back to default. All of my system
settings were defaul

the latest git packages of Kdenlive an hour ago. Can I ask for
confirmation from any of the Kdenlive dev's that yesterday's bug has
been resolved so those of us testers can add/use the ppa again without

again, instead of the top. Is this a bug, or a purposeful regression?

With the recent release of 16.08, I've seem *tremendous *amounts of
press praising the new features, stability, and polish, from
omgubuntu.co.uk to numerous posts on G+ from various communities,
Facebook and more. This is a brilliant achievement.

Just thought everyone should know that the Kubuntu 16.10 beta 2 release
is showing the old Kdenlive program icon. There are also dark-themed
icons that are missing from the interface when in Breeze Dark theme mode.

JB, I'm coming up with an error when trying to install snap via the
command you provided in Kubuntu 16.10 beta. Getting this error:

So, I've been testing the new kdenlive-devel snaps packages on Fedora 24
and Ubuntu 16.10 (Unity desktop) and am running into issues. Should I
report them here? KDE's Bugtracker? Somewhere else?

In the bugtracker, do I file bugs for the 17.08.3 appimage under
"17.08.3" or "appimage - refactoring"?
Just thought I'd mention that when you add the stable ppa to Ubuntu
19.04, there are no Kdenlive 19.04 packages to install.
The latest refactored release looks absolutely KILLER, by the way!!!
