I should point out that the period bursts of writes every five seconds
in my vmstat 1 output is due to zfs's flushing mechanism; by default it
flushes dirty pages every five seconds.

FYI in terms of sustainable options I was able to find a very hard to
find .deb with the latest driver as a DKMS module. It works fine for me
on Ubuntu 19.10. I really wish this was in a repository which was part

hmm, it was "off" in the settings.
So I tried turning it on and connecting to my bluetooth speaker to see
