Yes, that's correct. This the reason why Kwin's opengl compositor +

I have tried to use two of my bluetooth midi controllers and neither
have been picked up as midi devices after pairing.
"aseqdump --list" doesn't have any midi devices listed.
If I plug the devices in using USB I do get listings.
Not sure how to debug this furthe
I'm using a Dell XPS 9560 and found that booting with kernel 5.3.0-45
avoids IntelliJ's IDE (PhpStorm) to trigger the GPU hang, while the
workaround on comment #82 to doesn't make any difference when using
kernel 5.3.0-46 or 5.3.0-51.

I performed a test with 5.4.0-30-generic on focal. The update in
proposed fixes the problem for me as it provides the necessary kernel
modules. I have not seen any problems with the new kernel version.
