SATA device hot plug regression on AMD EPYC
Adding the above line to the kernel on Mantic does not work - in fact setting

I have experienced the same problem, although I do not need to do as
much re: CPU usage. Most of the time, when I go to add the PulseAudio
input to OBS, the JACK server will experience the same fault, and the

Just wanted to give you the update as of today with all the updates standby
doesn't work. It goes in standby but it does not wake up but the computer
stays on with the light on and the fan on.

Here's exactly what I'm experiencing during the shutdown. I tried what you
said, I pressed shut down in the graphical interface, I saw the regular
shutdown prompts. But then after that I can hear a partial shutdown of the
hard drive, but the power of light still remains on. I waited
forgot to add, shutdown is not working properly either. So kind of
caught between a rock and a crazy place here.

On a personal note, I'm unable to be productive at work because I can no
longer find a kernel that will boot with networking in a non-line
environment. Never had this happen with the Debian installation I have
on System76 (but not-Serval) hardware I have at home.

bcmwl kernel module does not build with 5.6.0 kernel
Looks like, from bug #1872908, that there was a patch added in
6.30.223.271+bdcom-0ubuntu6.
But when I install bcmwl-kernel-source, it pulls 6.30.223.271+bdcom-
0ubuntu5.
$ sudo apt list|grep bcmwl-kernel-source
bcmwl-kernel-source/focal,now 6.30.223.271+bdcom-0ubuntu5 amd64 [installed]

I too lost Wi-Fi after doing apt upgrade, which brought the kernel to
5.8.0.34-generic. Same "ioremap_cache" reported as above.
I found that the package for the broadcom in my Macbook Pro should be using
firmware-b43-installer, not the bcmwl-kernel-source package, according to the
"BROADCOM
Ugh .. correction on that, sorry. When I look up [14e4:4365] (rev 01)
in that table, it does show bcmwl-kernel-source as the package. So I'm
also unable use Wi-Fi, where the "ioremap_cache" error when it tries to
build bcmwl.

Though this bug is fixed for me. I know that others still experience
this.
I am part of an ubuntu group on facebook.
I constantly see posts of people losing wifi once theyre computer wakes
up from standby. I post my fix to use stacer to disable bluetooth and
change your power saving

Thank you I am no longer really having issues with the wifi. I think its
actually fixed or something from an update. I dont see anything in the
dmesg logs. you can close this ticket.

Hi Dan,
Thanks I forgot the syntax for the apport-collect. I ran it this morning
on my laptop.it sent some info, hope that helps.
Im part of an ubuntu group on fb and this is a common problem.
unfortunatly I dont see anything in my dmesg logs this time.
