@Chris, it's not easy to use one line of code but not too hard to implement.
Must clean up the existed table if the original policy is passive policy 2.
Then parse pp1 on thermald.
I thought it's better to follow the upstream code architecture.

Dell G5 5500 touchpad and
Public bug reported:
After an upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS the on-boaard keyboard and touchpad
on my Dell G5 5500 do not work and are not shown in
/proc/bus/input/devices
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 22.04
Package: linux-image-5.15.0-50-generic 5.15.0-50.56
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu
I'm just surprised that "make passive policy 1 default" isn't a cleanly
cherry-pickable thing. That *sounds* like it should be one line of code
:)
Unless it first needs to implement support for "passive policy 1", which
it may well need to! But I don't know that unless someone tells me :)
Since
This issue is affecting me as well 5.15.0.50-generic and
5.15.0.52-generic are both broken.
