The PPA does not have riscv64 enabled, but it crash/riscv64 FTBFS in

I also updated my ThinkPad L590 from 20.04 LTS to 22.04.03 LTS (Kenel Version
6.2.0-36-generic) and encountered the same bug. The system was also hanging
after "Loading initial ramdisk". I was able to resolve the issue by disableing
the "Security Chip"/TPM 2.0 module in BIOS.

Think this is actually a duplicate of 2009952.
I haven't tested 6.x with the kernel parameter suggested, but everything
else described matches. So nothing to do with gnome-shell.
The ubuntu delta should be applicable to debian too. But it is done in a
way that is not upstreamable to Debian.
Please change debian/control to have arch specific depends on kexec-
tools, for all Debian arches where it exists, and please contribute it
to debian.

tool, which shouldn't be possible. I suspect other issues with the
system, so it's not a bug in the package

After upgrading my MacbookPro 14,1 from 23.04 to 23.10 dm-crypt unlock prompt
doesn't respond to key presses and I'm not able to type in my password to

The only option that works now is to boot with the kernel left from 23.04
I got similar symptom, but with NVIDIA driver and Lenovo Thunderbolt 4
dock. Looks like for it happens after connecting dock back, but screen
goes black already when disconnecting from the dock.

First, you're using an unsupported out-of-tree module, so no promises.
Second, we need logs from the failure. Try 'journalctrl -b -1' or something.
Adjust the '-1' until you find a log from the 'bad' kernel.
Third, is there any reason why you don't use the kernel provided rtw88_8821ce
driver?

When system boots up with SMT enabled, all good in default kernel
(5.15.0-43-generic).
