I'm actually getting good results using the updated brcmfmac43455
firmware files which Raspbian is using. To use them I first removed
'/lib/firmware/brcm/brcmfmac43455-sdio.raspberrypi*' then put the

After adding one:

Oh, that's the kernel version. The version that is important is that of
flash-kernel. If you install version 3.98ubuntu5.3 of flash-kernel and
then update the kernel you should not see "Unsupported Platform".
