Hi Mike.
You want to lay the glass at 45 degrees to the long edge you are covering.
A layup will tend to pucker up when just going straight up and over tighter
radius'

h the tail wheel. I have picked up a similar tailwheel
assembly off an RV but have not yet put up the photos. I had to weld a
bracket to turn a round tube from the assembly to a flat spring.

lf-locking nuts here and that if the bolt was reversed, and the nut did up
on the rod end bearing side of the flap actuaror, that a castellated nut
would be used instead.
I am not trying to be a "Smarty Pants", just a little confused as I saw this
on many aircraft.
