I'm back too. I left the Gathering and flew 320 miles to Osceola, Iowa to drop off my old Air Force roomate Mark Chamberlain (I'm sure that everybody that talked to him is now somewhat "enriched"). In Iowa we landed in 24 mph winds with 30 mph gusts, and it was a pretty exciting landing.

Just found out that Charlie Reeves at his last fuel stop, during take off he was hit with a cross wind that caught his tail. Which caused him run off the runway, where he broke off the left gear damaged the right gear and cowling. They are tailoring the airplane home. The full details are not
