46 lbs of ballast.are you sure? Seems like a hell of a lot :-).
Did an authorised weight and balance person come up with that amount? If
not, please get one to double check your calcs to be safe.

Well, since you asked. I just finished up my lycoming engine mount Jig. The
4130 will be here next weekend and I can tack weld it and get it off to the
welder. In the mean time my engine is in a box at Aero Engine waiting on the
main bearings. So in 2 weeks we will put the lower end together

I finally finished up installation of the new axles, brakes, wheels, and
tires on N891JF last night, and man does it now have brakes! For the
first time, a full-power runup is no problem at all. That was a real
safety issue for me. I owe Riley Collins for the great deal he gave me

My EAA chapter is looking for airplanes this Saturday at KCPS ?to fly 40 Boy
Scouts. Our local FBO discounts fuel down to $2.00 a gallon for the event. ?
