My question is, Why mount the ELT on the ground plane? An ELT when working

Reread the my previous post. I ran across this ad on barnstormers.com and know
nothing about it beyond what's in the ad. It is located somewhere in NY. An
O-200 Continental is nominally 100 HP. I would suggest having the owner scan
the last few years of logs and all of the overhaul

I saw that you were having to really tug on it to get it engaged. My
first thought was that you might want to adjust the bolt that pushes the
electrical contacts so it makes contact a bit easier. The starter gear
is probably already fully engaged. I also noticed that your starter
