You've got the right pattern. I noticed the crease, hence the wish to
redraft.
The last pattern from Needlecraft magazine I did was plotted on a
rectangular rather than square grid. It had an interesting effect, and the
adjacent sides of the resulting mat are different! I didn't

what I did, after I found out the pattern I had was faulty, was to
photocopy the piece twice, then carefully cut out the faulty point between
dots, and replace it with a correct one, then rephotocopy the result. It
worked perfectly.
I also photocopied the (perfect) pattern at 125% in
I'm trying to reach MIchael Giusiana for permission to use some of his
patterns in a new project for IOLI. I understand that he is traveling in
Africa. I have emailed him but if anyone knows another way that I might

As there was not enough gallery space at Coventry to display all the
exhibits, it was decided that the pieces not displayed in the main
exhibition would be exhibited at The Hollies (The Lace Guild's
headquarters in Stourbridge). There has been a fair amount of discussion
on this, not least the

Liberal Arts from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC this May. I know
