I have been reading about pillow felt with interest. I have an old domed foam
pillow and the top bit is more or less on the point of collapse. Would a layer
of felt under the cover save its life as I can't imagine it been firm enough
to hold the pins securely.

Dear Ann,
The felt may extend the life of your pillow for a while, but why not replace
the damaged section with another bit of foam and then cover?
