We are currently using some architects paper for pattern making before cutting
some weird shape in wood, but in the back of my mind I am thinking I have
heard that architects paper makes good Lace Pricking paper/parchment.
Do any of you researcher lacemakers out there know if I am right. I have

I think that what you may have heard is that when people design a
pattern, they often use architects parchment because you can create your
cartoon first, and then with the parchment laid over the cartoon, you
draw in the diagram of how you want the lace made. It's very good to
