Funny isn't it? I taught myself to tat after seeing an elderly man tatting at a craft show around 45 years ago. I got a shuttle, and a basic book (can't remember which one, cept it had an orange cover) and taught myself left handed (shuttle in left, thread in right). I've never had a problem

Isn't interesting how many lacemakers are left handed. I am also left handed and I sew, crochet and have tried tatting all left handed and have no problems with patterns. I also have to remember than left sides are right sides like Sue. I find that if I watch someone else do a stitch right handed
