there excist spangled bobbins in Denmark. I found one a bundle of them in a
Antiquariat in Berlin. And the lady told me they were from Harz mountain in
Germany. I could later send you a picture privately.

While I was making lace today I was wondering if anyone knew anything
about WHEN spangles were first invented. I would assume they were
invented in England, as they don't seem to appear on the Continent.
What exactly IS their history.
