This needle lace is truly beautiful, while looking through it I was happy to
see Chateau de Rambouillet because for many years my home town of Great
Yarmouth has been twinned with Rambouillet and townsfolk often have exchange
visits there.

I ended up answering my own question, because I wanted to know. Iâll do it
both ways. All but one of the chateaux are in northern France. Most are in
the Loire Valley, more or less.
Chambord, Chaumont, Maintenon (actually close to Chartres, which is not in the
Loire Valley, but close), Luyne

another fantastic tour for the Chataeau lovers among us.
I don't see any pattern either, except

Several of the chateaux are in the Loire. It makes me want to go back to
the Loire and see them all again!
Not to denigrate such a fine set, but I was a little disappointed with the
foliage and landscape of the
pt Chantilly is northeast of Paris. How
wonderful the internet is, when we can see this lace in minute detail
without leaving the house or buying a book!! lrb
