College last week what a time we had! In addition to the excellent
workshops, we were treated to selections from the Sweet Briar lace collection,
including some of my favorites--drop dead Milanese fine whitework

Last week it was my pleasure to attend Lace at Sweet Briar, and I can
honestly say I have never attended a better organized event. Kudos to Clay
Blackwell for all her hard work and attention to detail, and to the other
helpers,
teachers and vendors who made it possible.

perfect retreat. I was unable to attend last year but heard how great it was

There has been a cancellation in the s'Gravenmoerse class at Lace at Sweet
Briar. This class has been at capacity for some time. If any of you would
like to take this spot, contact me right away (privately, please!) The Retreat
is set for June 22 - 28.

Not being a regular poster on Arachne but a lurker I felt I needed to come
out and let you all know about the wonderful time that was had by all at the
first Lace at Sweet Briar, in Virginia this past week.
About 31 lacers spent a week lacing, learning under the tutelage of
wonderful teachers
I stand corrected: The Cone Collection of lace is in Baltimore; it is the
Barber/Connin collection at Sweet Briar. Thanks Tamara for the correction.
