Hi Regina The pattern comes from 'Motieven in Kleur' by Sebastiana Van Den Herik, (pictured on the front cover of the book) and I have used the same design for all the trees including the 'winter' one - I did try to draw a more wintery shape but decided they would look better all the same. I

That's a good idea... I'm working on bucks point fan which is coming along nicely and almost half done, and also making Russian tape lace trees.. they depict the seasons and have done Spring (in pink and pale green threads) and Autumn (Rust, yellow and orange) am working on Winter in
