Re: [lace] wreath storage bags aka lace pillow carrying case
I saw a red version of the firm plastic wreath case at JoAnn's on Sat. 24 size. However, upon opening it I found 2 molded-in-place pegs/protrusions designed to hang the wreath which would severely limit the size of pillow that the case would hold, probably only a 20 pillow. Be sure to check out the inside before you buy. Lorri The green (or red) solid plastic case, without any window or stiffening insert, does hold 24 inside. It is 5-1/2 thick, deep enough to hold two pillows for storage. At JoAnn's fabric and craft store last year, I saw the same thing in autumn colors for Autumn Wreaths. It might be a bit too late this year to catch one on a clearance sale. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [lace] wreath storage bags aka lace pillow carrying case
The hard plastic wreath case is not a prospect for pillows. It's the soft foldable storage bags that work. But the advise to check the inside is wise. You never know what you might find. Re: [lace] wreath storage bags aka lace pillow carrying case
I understand that this thread started with someone looking for a bag to carry their pillow. I found that the hard plastic case is good for storage at the house however. The wreath box I got two years ago has funny molded corners, but is still large enough to store my Princess pillow. The Princess has a little roller sticking out the back that you roll your finished lace on. It has always concerned me that it might get bumped and bent or broken. The wreath box protects it perfectly. And it isn't a perfect seal; there is still airflow so I don't worry too much about plastic fumes. Still I try to air it out a couple time a year. Dear S.P., Apologies for being a little late, our package arrived last week - guess the Christmas Mail is slowing things down. Thank you for my lovely gifts, saving the scarf for holidays - especially on the plane when you get all those draughts during night time flying. Pam I should have used the 'tiried leg gel' last Saturday after spending the day at the National Lace Fair! my bobbins are waiting to be spangled - Pam is going to do that little job for me and then they will be on the pillow I shall take with me to New Zealand on 2nd January! and the soap will be on its way back ! - in my toilet bag!!! Many thanks once again and I hope you have a lovely Christmas. [lace-chat] 'puter woes, again
OK, it's not my week, obviously. I did something -- again -- which I don't know how to un-do and hope someone will know how to help. I was trying to highlight an URL (on my Firefox) for copying and was having problems -- only bits would highlight, instead of th whole thing. And then... I don't know... that whole URL area seems to have disappeared. How do I get it back? I can't function without it :) -- Tamara P Duvallhttp://t-n-lace.net/ Lexington, Virginia, USA (Formerly of Warsaw, Poland) To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace-chat [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[lace-chat] Puter woes, PS
I don't think I was clear enough in my first message. The entire area of the back-page, refresh, google-search, etc has disappered, not just the URL slot) All I have is the very top line, which tells me where I am and which allows me only to close, minimize and maximize the screen. -- Tamara P Duvallhttp://t-n-lace.net/ Lexington, Virginia, USA (Formerly of Warsaw, Poland) To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace-chat [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi Tamara I see that [EMAIL PROTECTED] has sorted your problem, but 'view' on the very top bar is what you need - also works with other programs such as Word - if you can't find the toolbar you need.
