I am very relieved to hear that Jeri is OK. It would be a huge loss to all of

I am sure that Arachnids will be relieved to hear that I have just gotten
off the phone with Jeri Ames. She has had some health issues since last
August and was in the hospital early in March for some non-urgent
follow-up. She has been feeling tired, so she has not been checking email
since then.
I have been trying to contact Jeri Ames for a month or more now with no
success. I have used her aol address and her gmail address but no answer.
Does anyone know if she is ok?

...and not only is she generous with resources, she is the one person
who will alert the lacemaking world of important events such as the
possible closure of an important museum, the quality of an exhibit AND
she extends her generosity and caring to other people, for whom she
advocates
Jeri is not only generous with her knowledge, but she has a huge
collection of books and textiles. We are all fortunate to have such a
helpful resource to draw on.
An example: Someone wrote to the Professor's web site about a shawl she
was trying to identify. He fired the email over to me.
