also printing spot colours using render intent = absolute gives very
acurate results (for in gammut colours).

ie, if I take a spot color (be it a very light color or other), and enter it
into as a CIELab into gamu
The scanners I used were not able to properly scan the dark patches of the
target.
I used a Xrite digital swatchbook and gretag 5.0, worked a charm. the
resultant profile looked very near (using gretag's gamut viewer in their
profile editor) some profiles I found using google for the same
