programs that will compile with glibc 2.0 - especially in the realm of

I've been working on the glibc 2.1 version, and did the following to
the libraries:
* Removed libuuid; it didn't seem to be needed and it needed
libcom_err anyway.
* Removed libnss_db; it didn't seem to be needed and it needed libdb
anyway.
* Stripped libm - saved 68k compressed!
* Stripped libfo

i didn't wrote when you where discussing it (Quite busy with other things),
but my "dream" is to have a lrp/leaf system based on uClibc.
It is not usable for this right now but seems to go right into that
direction, and if it supports enough functions/binaries i would vote for that.
