It's becoming harder and harder to find glibc-2.0 based programs, or programs that will compile with glibc 2.0 - especially in the realm of network tools and daemons. Those that do compile always require some modification, or sputter on and on about things redefined in bits and socketbits, or can

I've been working on the glibc 2.1 version, and did the following to the libraries: * Removed libuuid; it didn't seem to be needed and it needed libcom_err anyway. * Removed libnss_db; it didn't seem to be needed and it needed libdb anyway. * Stripped libm - saved 68k compressed! * Stripped libfo

Hi there, i didn't wrote when you where discussing it (Quite busy with other things), but my "dream" is to have a lrp/leaf system based on uClibc. It is not usable for this right now but seems to go right into that direction, and if it supports enough functions/binaries i would vote for that. It
