No Gnonto even on the bench! Must be on his way!!
Also probable that Cresswell and Gelhardt will be going too, so need to
start getting a few players in to replace the numbers at least.

Looks a weak team to me. The fact that Ayling is the only defender on the
bench must mean that Cresswell and Hjelde are not even on Farke’s radar
regarding playing. So anyone else leaving will have to be replaced numbers
wise at least. Interesting to see who would be Farke’s first choice as
Cooper out - picked up a knock.
Raphina, Rodrigo and Philips on the bench.

Regarding tonight's team:-
I can't see Ayling being left out, as that would make the team frighteningly
short at the back. It will be tough on anyone, but I can see Dallas making
way, and going back to 4-1-4-1.
Ayling gives us a more defensive full-back, to make up for Costa's defensive
side
Interesting conundrum...Phillips comes back in (surely, although I
wouldn't put it past Mr. Stubborn/Mr. Loyal-to-the-players-who-perform to
keep him on the bench), so who drops out? Alioski? He was superb on Sat.
Dallas? he's been superb all year. Ayling? Bielsa's favourite player.
I
I think if he played Phillips he would be defensive mid and then Forshaw would
have to move forward and Klich to 10 behind Roofe, this way he keeps Forshaw in
front of defence with Klich slightly further forward and Roberts at 10 -
Forshaw & Klich helped destroy Derby and now Klich is back on
Yes I thought he'd drop Clarke but I expected Philips to play rather than
Roberts. However, he's obviously seeing what I see most weeks in that Roofe is
struggling on his own up front. We have a lot of possession but are not turning
these into chances because of the lack of options up front.
Well Bielsa has done it again and announced his team early - I do think that it
gives the opposition some help especially now that we actually have options (eg
Phillips and Clark on bench when would possibly expect Phillips to start
instead of Roberts?)

For the players we have available I think that is about as close as it gets to
be being the team I would want. Only issue for me is Lasogga. I just think he
needs someone fast like Ekuban next to him to run the channels so he can play

Wiedwald, Ayling, Cooper, Jansson, Berardi, Phillips, Vieira, Alioski, Saiz,
Roofe, Ekuban

A few changes on bench - no Grot (and still no Klitch) - not much there that

subs: Lonergan, Shaughnessy, Pennington, Borthwick-Jackson, Anita,
