She didnt seem to be bothered by the death of Bobby Sands. An MP in her
own country that she left to rot and die in jail.
What goes around comes
No party here, and I’m pretty sure I’m north of you. Maybe you mean slightly
north of Weatherby and slightly south of Boroughbridge?

Well, the party has already started in the North!!
Party here right down in the Southern Hemisphere. Promised myself when the
moment came I would remember how she was. Yeah sure it's sad for her family.
Like Hillsborough, the poll tax, destruction of the large swathes of the north
of England, the abuse of executive power and the abandonment of
first time that old has made these workers happy...central Leeds.
Cue a week of unwatchable news guff...bet they don't do any vox pops from
Orgreave.

“I Do Not Intend To Die, Washing A Teacup”. Margaret Thatcher, 1925 – 2013.
by Jack Monroe (OurSouthend)
MARGARET Thatcher has passed away today, aged 87, following a stroke.
She entered the Houses of Parliament with drive, with ambition, and with a
vision that she truly believed would change

quite right too after what she did to our communities and Yorkshire.

I haven't heard a single northern person that I know who had anything but
loathing for her. North yorks Harrogate was once described as a little
piece of Surrey up north so expect different views there but it is as John says
widespread hate for a woman
I certainly haven’t gloated over her death. I disliked her intensely for
everything she did. I guess the economics texts books will judge her more
kindly than those who remember her.
I'm not going to mourn her nor will I criticise those who choose to have a
party or will I criticize those
