This game was abject and without any good points.
I went from Sheffield. In the ground there was an atmosphere of complete loss
of expectations. Beyond a loss of hope. The only thing holding it all together
was the supporters spirit. The same spirit I saw at Barnsley. The only
difference was
Hillsborough was a tragedy. The fact that the Captain of the present team
remembers his dead cousin is more than understandable. The fact that Liverpool
have a bloody good team who are winning on merit can't be disputed.

I have to say I agree with Rich on this one.

I used to have a bit of admiration for the Scousepool fans after the incredible

That soon wore off in the late 70's and 1980's though when all they did was
gloat as they ruled the English game whilst we were in decline - something
they had never managed to do

Byram

Murphy

...and maybe Austin as a squad player.
The rest? Thanks but goodbye.
Anyway, where's Cellino? Its a bit quiet. McD did say he was meeting with
him this week to discuss McD's future plan. I wonder if Cellino's plans
include him.

hi All,
my football club blacklist contains the same clubs, but their positions are
interchangeable, and at present it goes like:

2) One of the Old Firm Teams (;-)
3) MUFC
4) Real Madrid

So why do you have a downer on Celtic? :-)
No problem with Brendan Rogers or the style of football he plays its their fans
(and the press) who would be insufferable.

Spot on, Ian. You put my point better than I did. “Is McD the man to spend
it? No.” I don’t know I’d go so far as to say he’s clueless….but he is
CLEARLY not the man to spend it. And this is too important an opportunity to
waste.

Funny…I had that conversation with a mate yesterday at lunch watching the dour

One more thought on the subject. Supposedly Cellino and McD are meeting this
week on the subject of the retained list. And supposedly McD is going to be
telling Cellino there has to be massive change. Now, just for a moment, let’s
NOT get into the question of whether he’s right. The REAL
Doesn't mean he is protecting himself. Anyone can see there needs to be
massive change.

Suspect we have Kebe on a loan to end of season with no right to terminate
the loan - hence not sending him back.
Otherwise our previous owners would have had him out the door a few weeks
back when they were going into meltdown mode and touting Peltier left,
right and centre.
On Wed, Apr 23,
I agree that it does not mean he’s protecting himself — and agree there needs
to be massive change. But the question is this: can Cellino trust what McD is
saying — not in general, but in specifics.
