In a few idle moments, I looked up the points totals achieved by the 6th place team over the last 11 seasons. They were: 74 78 72 68 75 75 70 74 70 75 75. That gives an average of 73.2. We are currently on 54, with 8 home and 8 away games left. The home games are v Cardiff, Brizzle, Weds, QPR,

You might be right Dave, but then again if they sustain this, then Rich will possibly be right too, as I can see one of the top two faltering. I'm not sure their defence is bad either - we looked no great shakes against it, and neither did Brighton. I'll be very happy indeed if we go up in an

They're at their high water mark at the moment - they will slip from this level. Their defence isn't all that and they play a very dangerous high line at set pieces that will get them in trouble (unfortunately Hernandez's delivery was unusually poor at set pieces yesterday). We're going up in

Given what I saw of Uddersfield against Brighton and us, the evidence doesn't suggest that would be a draw we should encourage - let someone else knock them out. I think Rich W wondered how Wagner had got all those players to Huddersfield - a very good question, given how good they look in an
