I think you have quoted a classic case there Dave. Klich. If you are on
Twitter you will have seen post and analysis showing that he made more passes,
created more chances than anyone else. However, we both know that he has
struggled in the first two matches. Hopefully his goal will improve
Normally ie non football I am a 'stats man' all the way
Football is more difficult - I was very critical of klich in his first two
games then read a stat that he had created more chances than anyone else in the
whole division in the first 2 games of the season
Am I totally wrong then? Maybe or
These seem to show that Mowatt can cross a ball, Doukara makes goals, and that
Bianchi is both our best tackler and best passer !Just shows how false most
stats are in football or at least how misleading they areThe only 2 stats that
count are goals for and goals against
Stats are a load of bollocks. You only have to watch with your eyes to know
Bianchi is shit. He's had one good game.

Yes someone was treating that Becchio has the highest conversion rate of shots
/ goals but that doesn't tell the story. How many shots has he actually had ?
Almost certainly this will be lower than any other striker in the league. He
very rarely has a shot on goal and almost never fashions a

Some interesting stuff here.
Surprise, surprise...we have the highest proportion of goals
conceded from headers in the league
We also have the lowest number of shots per game but, luckily, the best
Forest worries me. I know the mantra of points on the board but they have
3 games in hand on us and will be way in front of us if they win them all.

In the last 5 years a play off place (6th) has been 70-75 points.
This seasons points accumulation by teams in and around is on the higher
side of that range so 10 wins and 1 draw should be enough from 19 games
(relegation has ranged from 42-52 by the way)
I think I got the WE'LL murder them bit slightly wrong!!! :-(
From earlier today...
So with Barnsley scoring first in 4 out of 5, and us letting the other
team score 4 in 5 then we'll be 1-0 down within 10 mins? and then
equalise. HT 1-1, then we'll murder them second half but not score,
Barnsley
Barnsley are yet to lose - or concede a goal - at home this season.
Mark Robins' side are the highest placed in the division with a negative
goal difference.
They have scored first in four of their five league outings.
Victory would give the Tykes their best start to a league
