Au contraire, Tim,I bet EVERY time your wife steps into your shop - There's a "spark" that quickly bursts into a FLAME! (LoL!)How many watts is yours - and how many "Brands" can you make (burn) before you have to reheat it?Are you able to order additional "brand heads" that you can swap out onto
Might have to consult the Guru Mike Pung I've heard him call some work
he did Pineapple too?

Yes - the "Brick" look - variety of flats. Looks like all you had to do was decide how many "flats" you wanted to place around the circumference, install the appropriate Index Plate, and start cutting the flats - one "level" at a time - going all the way around before moving to the next level.
I'm sure I picked up the terms brick and pineapple pattern from somewhere.
I'm not that creative :)

Thanks guys.
I actually never got around to finishing the Gazebo. Other projects got in
the way so I just carefully stored all the work I did inside and hope to
finish it up next year. I still have the spindles to do above the entry and
then all the spindles on the second level. Seems other
Those are some great turnings Tracy. In the pic with the 3 stacks of
spindles, is there a name for the patterns of the top 1 & 2 of the middle
stack; and the 3rd and 4th from the top in the stack on the right? Those
are really interesting. They also look complicated.
Also, in an earlier post
Bill,Great request! Thanks for bringing it up.I too remember Tracy making that great variety of turnings he was going to incorporate into the railing around the gazebo.Like you, I do not remember ever seeing any of the completed Gazebo.Mac-Original Message-

Arkady,
I did ask about selling to people who had a Legacy machine and just needed
the software. They are going to look into it but said it may be more than a
week before I hear back. If I hear any good news, I'll let you know.

I just talked to someone at Legacy. They don't sell Conversational CAM by

Thanks for the additional information Tracy. It helps a lot with
understanding what it would take to install then operate the CNC Upgrade.
Good to know it was powerful enough to handle what seems like a good test
on some fairly large projects. I wish you luck with your 2000

Hey Bill I probably will switch it out. I just want option of having both.
I'm a very production minded individual and if I don';t have to take

Hi Tracy.
Thank you very much. It is difficult to me to call Legacy by myself because
my English is very poor for real time conversation. Please ask Legasy how
much CCAM costs and what way I will got it. Maybe usb flashcard or online
download.
