over) after merging. Let's say your cousin makes some changes in a
copy of youf file. When you Intellimerge his file back into your's a
set of parents are identical so the RINs from cousin are deleted but
some MRINs are left

columns, I get the drop down window that says Customize Index View Columns,
Index View Columns, where I can again change which columns I want. It
doesn't allow me to sort on birth date, death date, etc.

Unfortunately, although you can display other columns, according to Legacy and
experience, sorting is available for Surname, Given, or RIN/User ID.

Yes, you can choose other items to see in that view, however it is not
possible to sort on other columns than ID, Surname and Givenname.

All I am doing is creating a 5.5 gedcom and when I try to upload it
onto Ancestry, all I get is a simple error message indicating tht
there was an error uploading the file.
I previously had a programme called clooz, which tried to
automatically load when I tried opened Legacy. I used
