Hi Ron,
I think you may still have the email problem but I get the intent of your
message. Having a somewhat better understanding of the strict Legacy rules
clarified my dilemma. What I was doing is printing a descendents chart from
higher up the tree thinking everybody would be included, but as
I have dumped Hotmail so all is OK now.
The other point I was making (see also my reply to Alan Jones) was the need
to link the kids to the marriage, as you would do for any child of the
marriage, as well as just the biological parent. The set the relationship to
the other parent as
Hi Ron
You appear to have an email problem that may be fixed by (assuming you are
using something with a similar setup to Outlook Express - the wording may be
a bit different):
Go to Tools/Options/Send - Mail Sending - Plain Text Settings - MIME -
encode text - select none, not quoted
Thank you Brett, I will have a look at that - I was using Hotmail but have
now dumped it.

I don't think so. What you are seeing is the same effect as mentioned in ot=

Your posting problems continue. Looks like an equal sign (=) at the end of
every line and =2C instead of a comma and =20 between paragraphs.
Very odd!

Ron, What email are you using? I just got an update to my ATT Yahoo Mail and
had to reset the Plain Text thing. It still doesn't LOOK like plain text to
me, but it is. Maybe you've had a minor (they would say) change to your email
program?

Hi Ron,
I'm also with you on this with messed up families and I believe I have a
similar problem. I have a person who married 3 times and all his descendents
share his paternal name but on charts there is always a part of his
descendents that is omitted. I don't have the siblings tagged as half
