Dennis, Have you checked to see if you have also selected the indivual to be private? I ask because before sending you my suggestion, I opened up an individual, clicked edit to open an event, then marked it private. I just ran a descendant's report and he is on the report, but the event is NOT.

You will have to point to the database file and multimedia files within Legacy on each machine. I would think that Legacy keeps the location of the Data and Multimedia files in one of the files with the same filename as the data file. There are filenames ending with things like TC, FSD, RC3.
