I don't get this at all! I am getting Cal every time. I have the latest build of Legacy. I put in 30 Jun 2011 and then I put in 11 years, 5, months, 4 days and it spit out Cal 26 Jan 2000 I copied and pasted it directly in here. Y'all must have changed a setting or something. michele

I don't see an answer to your first question. You can import into Legacy your exported GED 5.5 for preview etc. Just give it a different filename so it isn't a conflict with your database filename. Select from the file menu: FileImport FromGEDCOM File. It will ask you to Open filename.
