I've found one issue with upgrading as this version reconfigures the database. I have Legacy on 2 computers, but all my data is kept on one of them - the other machine accesses data over my local network. I upgraded on one machine successfully and my data file was updated to the new structure.

Not true. But she should put them in their own directory and not the root. Usually the Legacy backups would go into the Legacy\Backup folder. I have almost all my genealogy files in C:\Roots\ and prefer it that way. If windows gets corrupted and I have to reinstall then my files are still in that
