setting up the split screen but when I want to open the internet site I wish

I just use the show windows side by side function in Windows 8. That
lets me have my legacy file in one half of the screen and the internet in
the other half. I like them vertically but you can also do them
horizontally stacked as well. I use this all the time.

You can have two Family Files open using split screen. You could use the
browser on the Legacy Home tab of one of the files while you work in the
other one, but the browser window is going to be awfully small.
Plus there's no Address bar for you to enter the URL of a website - you can

birth certificate. That is the only picture I have for her. Now in

The Family View only shows the Preferred Picture from the Individual's
Picture Gallery. It doesn't draw pictures from the Source, Source Detail or
Events.

Hi LUG I am using the up to date current version of Legacy, Windows 7 and
Microsoft Word 2007. When I create a Descendant Narrative Report, then a Name
Index (using Word), the first person on the Name Index consistently shows as:
(No surname) and then the person's name including the surname
NFS is the site we connect to in Legacy 7.
And NFS is being rolled back beginning June 30th. And that means that we will
gradually not be able to connect various parts of NFS/FS till we get Legacy 8.
Look forward to that.

Click on the icon for photos for this individual. The birth certificate should
show and there should be a remove button on the right side of that pop-up
window. I'm pretty sure you must've also added the birth certificate file as a
picture for the individual. There's no link between pictures

It's different from the Picture Gallery for the Individual.
If you look at the very top of the Picture Gallery window, in the
border, it defines the Picture Gallery you're in.

Has anyone used the Consular Registration Applications on Ancestry.com?
They are great resources for genealogical information. Today is the first

Much to the regret of many of us Legacy does not and never has supported
Unicode, no matter how one tries to enter data encoded in that way. I will not,
therefore, support the use of the Cyrillic alphabet (or at least the Cyrillic
characters.
