Assuming you're excluding the people I think you're
excluding (i.e., your uncle's first wife's first husband's
grandparents, and his second wife's brother's wife's
nephew?) ...

FILE > Export to> GEDcom > Record Selection> Select/View
FOCUS GROUP;

find the individual, select ANCESTORS (Direct line)
then add: Descendants (direct line).

If a few people are missed, add them at the FOCUS GROUP
screen with add-an-individual / add-a-family.

I can pare a database of 4454 individuals down to 637
individuals that way.

IF it doesn't work for you -- export everyone; create a new
TEST database, and import everyone; now unlink or delete
everyone you don't want, and export what's left.
