I haven't received an solutions to this, so the best option seems to be to open the .pdf file in Word 2013 (or later). After it converts, do a standard Find/Replace, then re-save to .pdf. (By they way, there are 10 spaces between the parens and the dash.) -- Forwarded Message -- From:

Teresa, You need to sign in to findmypast.com to see the hints. Perhaps you think you have because you're signed into findmypast.co.uk? Can you clarify whether you have a partial or full subscription to findmypast.co.uk? Does clearing your browser cache help? Cathy Teresa Williams

Cathy, Thanks. I went to the location you mentioned and deleted the word "someone" and clicked on "SAVE" and it corrected it on all the people I had with no known spouse name. The "married someone" just looked extremely awkward to me. Right now I just have "married" until I can think of

The Option that controls this is Options - Customise 8.7 You can change the wording there to get rid of the "someone" - I do. There is no Apply button or Refresh on the marriage screen so I'm not positive that it updates automatically or whether it is for future entries. I don't think it

Is there a way to suppress (remove) blank spaces in reports? Specifically, I'm printing a Name List (Index) Report, and for every listing that lacks birth and death dates, it prints thusly: John DOE ( - ) Is there a way to eliminate the blanks where there is no data present? Thanks,
