When you install Legacy 9 it overwrites the Legacy 8 installation. Your family file will have the extension .fdb. If you have a shortcut on your desktop to open Legacy 8 it will open 9 not 8. You can use Windows Search to find all files on your computer with the .fdb extension and it should

I have been inactive on Legacy for 3 years but have found some relatives and decided to up grade from Legacy 8 to Legacy 9 deluxe ,and also enter some DNA,I have paid $26.95. I have downloaded the two files and have opened the PDF manual okay. I think (I'm sure) I put legacy 8 customer number

Legacy 9 crash. When setting the number of refresh days for MyHeritage hints (I had it at 30, wanted to change to the maximum, 120 days) it is very easy to have a mouse-slip and as I did, have an illegal number enter. It became 230. This immediately throws a fatal error an exits from Legacy
