what you want out of the tablet and how much you are willing to pay.

I like and use the three bar button as well, but I would make one small
suggestion: Move it down about a 1/4 on an inch so that we do not accidently
fat finger it. Or in other words click it by mistake.

open it again to view the map.
Of course, you also have to be online.

Did you sign up for FamilySearch.org or newFamilySearch.org? There is a
difference. Did you register from the login in in Legacy FamilySearch?
The account is set by newFamilySearch, Legacy just accesses it.

that you want
including PDF. I tried it and got a very large PDF file that was only one
page. So on a computer you can zoom in to see the details or take the file on
a thumb drive to a place like Kinko's or Staples and let them print it on large
paper.

There is an easy way to get the file that you want using Legacy

printout because of the large size of the chart. But instead of
clicking on the Print Icon, click on the Export to File

Kathy,
One question though, I've noticed many people name their files using a
dash - to separate fields. Is there a reason that you use that as
opposed to say a period . or underline _ or just a space? I hope
no one complains about this thread because I am really learning an
awful lot here.
would go
to Options/Customize and uncheck Family Search.
As for the one red and one green, probably some small mishap. If you had
access to Family Search you could synchronize that person on your data base
with the person on Family Search and the arrow would change colors.

.
But that really will take a lot of computing power.
So for EVERONE there is something usefull from the regular FamilySearch and
in the FUTURE more great stuff in the new FamilySearch.

In the index view click on the Options Button on the far right side. A small

the Include Alternate Names and Include Married Names if you do not want
them to show.
That is all it is. It is displaying the wives married name(s) and their AKAs.
