And I found boxes asking whether to overwrite or not. Click on merge, select your profiles click merge, and the backup reminder in that window offers the two options. There are also boxes for the options of always. You might know which one I chose. I just put someone on the merge, did nothing

When you go to back up your file, on that pop-up window there should be an OPTIONS button right next to the Backup button Click on OPTIONS and then select Append Date /or Append Time to default backup file name With both selected you can back up 10 times in the one minute and not overwrite
