In the Events/Facts window the codes appear when I point the mouse onto
the Desc/Place/Notes field and it displays what is written in that field.

I don't think this is specific to Legacy 8 as I am getting exactly the
same in Legacy 7.5 DeLuxe in the Namelist and the Events window.
However, in the main edit screens for notes or events the formatting
shows as it should.

I have converted my family file from Legacy 7.5 Deluxe to Legacy 8 Deluxe.
How do I turn off the display of embedded codes, for example b, which
appears on my Census events when I have used bold text to highlight a line
of text. These did not appear in Legacy 7.5 Deluxe.
