options you have chosen as the destination and whether you have excluded

If you want Events and not Event Notes, I don't think you can do that
without editing the Gedcom.
If you mean General, Research and/or Medical Notes they can be omitted

Gedcom customise options. They control which gedcom tags are exported.

import as a new Legacy file.
OR you can open it in Notepad so long as you don't change the format and

I am trying to create a gedcom file of my family file from Legacy 9.00 for
importing into Family search and Ancestry.
I Have tried using various file types eg - Basic, 5.5.1 gedcom while it
saves it as *.ged, file extension I am unable to open the saved file to
view it before importing
