Karen: The problem you are having is you are sharing folders between the Mac and Windows. I would recommend you turn off that feature in Parallels and keep the Windows Mac filing systems separate. It really becomes an issue for Legacy to find the pictures on the Mac side if you share the

I am a rank rookie Legacy user and have pretty much the same setup you have. I played with mine and assigned a photo to my father that was in my Mac home directory. The photo showed OK. I closed Legacy and re-opened. The photo was there as I left it. I haven’t tried attaching any documents.

Marie - I've been running Parallels (Versions 6 through 8) for several years and it works just fine. I tried Bootcamp and it is a good program, but the restarting issue is a drawback for me. Unless it has changed within the past couple of years, Bootcamp requires a restart to get to the system
